Shelley will work toward reducing government waste and maximizing the potential of every tax dollar, therefore reducing taxes at every opportunity. She will work to create JOBS and improve ACCESS to education for young people and adults who want to expand their vocational options. Shelley believes that poverty can be broken in one generation, which is her own family's story, and having that hope and working toward that goal is where we start.

In a rural setting, we drive long distances almost every day. It is imperative that we upgrade the condition of our Lowcountry roads and bridges to reflect excellence. Potholes and 4-lane interstates reflect our past, not our future. The safety of our families depends on this, and Shelley will fight for the funds to REPAIR AND EXPAND our roads and bridges.

Crime in the rural areas of Beaufort and Colleton county is on the rise. Shelley supports our Lowcountry law enforcement and wants to INCREASE THEIR PRESENCE, while working for families to bring solutions to issues that give rise to crime, like addiction, mental health issues, isolation, and lack of access to education. Shelley has experience fighting for families, and she's ready to go to work for yours.
